OtherEighty Privacy Policy
Effective: July 17, 2026 · OtherEighty is a service of WhatGood LLC (“we,” “us”).
The short version. We collect what we need to run your business’s OtherEighty team, we use it only for that, we sell it to no one, and it leaves with you if you go. We never ask for your passwords.
1. What we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone, business details you provide when you sign up or request an Everything Audit.
- Business operating data: the information your team needs to work — your services, hours, pricing rules, calendars you connect, and the operating memory your team builds (learned rules, preferences, history).
- Communications processed on your behalf: when your OtherEighty team answers calls, texts, chats, or emails for your business, we process those communications — including your customers’ names, contact details, and message or call content (calls may be recorded and transcribed, with disclosure to callers) — as your service provider, on your instructions.
- Audit materials: call logs, quotes, and forwarded emails you send us for an Everything Audit.
- Usage and billing data: how the service is used (calls handled, messages sent), payment records via our payment processor, and standard technical logs.
2. How we use it
To operate your OtherEighty team and deliver the services you’ve configured; to prepare your Everything Audit; to show you receipts of the work done; to bill accurately; to improve reliability and safety; and to comply with law. We use service providers to do this (hosting, telephony, email delivery, AI processing, payments — e.g., Supabase, Vercel, Twilio, Resend, Anthropic, Stripe), each bound to use your data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business’s private data to advertise to anyone.
3. Google user data (Calendar)
If you connect a Google Calendar, we access it only with your explicit OAuth consent and only for the scopes you grant:
- Read access is used solely to check your availability so appointments are offered in open time slots.
- Event access is used solely to create, update, or cancel appointment events your team books on your behalf.
We do not store your calendar contents beyond what scheduling requires; we do not share Google user data with third parties except the service providers processing it under our instructions as described above; we do not use it for advertising; and no humans read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or as required by law. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in settings or via your Google Account permissions page, which revokes our access.
OtherEighty’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Text messaging (SMS)
Where your business uses OtherEighty to send texts, messages are sent to people who have provided their number to your business and consented to receive them (for example, when booking an appointment). Message frequency varies by purpose (e.g., appointment confirmations and reminders). Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help; opt-outs are honored automatically and permanently. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Retention, export, and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can export everything — operating memory, learned rules, logs, contacts — at any time, in readable formats. On account closure or request, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, billing, or security purposes. Audit materials for businesses that don’t become customers are deleted on request and otherwise within 12 months.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per business at the database layer, and access is logged. No method is perfect; if a breach affects you, we’ll notify you promptly as required by law.
7. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information — contact us and we’ll honor them. If your information reached us because you communicated with a business using OtherEighty, we act as that business’s service provider; contact the business directly, and we’ll support their response.
8. Children
OtherEighty is a business service and not directed to anyone under 18.
9. Changes & contact
We’ll post changes here and update the date above; material changes get direct notice. Questions or requests: privacy@othereighty.ai · WhatGood LLC, 409 Northwest 49th Street, Vancouver, WA 98663.
